Day 1

Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, our rep will be there to welcome and assist you in getting transferred to the hotel. We shall also schedule a meeting at our head office for a short briefing about the trek that will be followed by an introductory session. We also arrange a welcome dinner at one of the most popular local restaurants. If the flight is late, then both the meeting and the dinner can be scheduled for the next day.

Day 2

Early in the morning, get transferred to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu Airport, from where we board the flight to Lukla. A 30-35 minute long flight, as you reach, the lodge, you get to eat breakfast with fellow trekkers. Later, take a walk towards Bhaisekharka begins through the stone-paved trails where you make your way through plenty of prayer rocks while still enjoying the views from the flourishing village of Lukla. Here you can capture some of the most beautiful rural scenes on the entire trek. This first and short hike is designed explicitly for acclimatisation. However, on reaching Phakding also known as the lodge-city, you can freshen up and take a trip to the nearby Monasteries. This night will be spent in one of the lodges in Phakding.

Day 3

After having a hearty breakfast, the trail leads you to the first suspension bridge of the trek which is a comfortable uphill ride. This route is also the way that leads you to the to the Sagarmatha National Park. Between Phakding and Monju you can enjoy small tea houses and shops. Complete the formalities at the entrance and then explore the park. The trail ahead begins to drop steeply to the long suspension bridge that's built across the Dudh Koshi River. You cross another suspension bridge and keep walking to the high Hillary Bridge at the bottom of the hill. The trail leads you uphill to Namche Bazaar which is a gateway to Mt. Everest and offers beautiful vistas. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar lodge.

Day 4

This is the first day of one of the two days that have been set aside for acclimatisation. Namche is an essential acclimatisation stop. It is recommended to stay active, for this you will either be taken to Thame, which is an old Sherpa village or the Khumjung Khunde Khongde village which further aids acclimatisation while letting you soak in the views of the mighty Mt. Everest. You will also have enough time to visit the National Park head office, Museum and monastery or you can spend your time in cafes, shops, bakeries and restaurants at Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5

After having a hearty breakfast, begin following the trail that leads you to the ridge, it is a convenient way to reach Kyamjuma, from there you shall descend slightly to Dudhkoshi. This trail entails beautiful views of the Mt. Everest. This trail also lets you spot some fantastic wildlife. The trail then reaches Sansa, which is a major trail junction to Gokyo valley and Everest Base Camp. After that, a steep ascent will bring you to the famous Tengboche monastery. Overnight stay at a lodge in Tengboche.

Day 6

The day shall begin from Tengboche. Hike for half an hour down to the riverside through the lush forest, across the river and then take a gradual climb up to the valleys to Pangboche which is 664ft. Here you can spot several small walls and Chortens along with villages. You can also get a close of view of Mt. Ama Dablam. In the afternoon we continue ascending to Pheriche from where a fairly moderate walk leads us to Imja Valley. Here, on climbing the last and steepest climb of the day, we finally reach Dingboche. The night is spent in a lodge in Dingboche.

Day 7

After a refreshing breakfast, begin climbing the ridge towards North, behind the village towards Mt Ama Dablam and numerous other peaks that glimmer with beautiful vistas. The vantage point situated on the hill also gives us an opportunity to observe Imja Khola Valley and the beautiful fields and pastures of Dingboche. Else, you can spend the day, only, exploring the Dingboche Valley. The night is spent at Dingboche.

Day 8

Eat a delicious breakfast, and then begin the trail and climb all the way till Dughla through the Khumbu Khola valley. When you reach Dusa, the canyon starts to narrow down. Fret not! And continue through Phuong Karpo. As you keep walking, take in the splendid views of the Chola Lake along with the magical Mt. Pumori (23,418ft) which disappears as the trail takes you further down. Upon crossing a small wooden bridge, the path also takes you up till Dughla. From here, we climb up the steep terminal of the Khumbu Glacier, which offers memorials of Sherpa who perished on the glacier of Mt. Everest. You can also spot other great peaks like Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. On leaving Khumbu Glacier behind the train gently climbs up to the Lobuche. The night is spent in Lobuche.

Day 9

The trail continues till Gorak Shep where you check into the Lodge. Eat a hearty lunch and then begin your climb towards Everest Base Camp. After the pyramid sign, you can now spot the crest of the north ridge of Everest. Just a small ascent from here can give way to a 360-degree view of the snowy mountains. A steep climb through the torrent of Changri Glacier can give you a glimpse of Kala Pattar. Walking through rocky and glacial trails finally leads to the Everest Base Camp (5357m17575ft). After reaching the Base Camp, you will return to Gorekshep (5160m16929ft) for an overnight stay.

Day 10

Today, you get to hike till Kala Pattar. Wake up early in the morning, and begin the hike upwards for a few hours. As you keep up, you shall reach a famous viewpoint of Kala Pattar, preached at 18,192ft! Soak in the gorgeous vistas of the glistening peaks. Spend some time here and then begin your hike back to Gorekshep, have a delectable breakfast and retrace to Pheriche for an overnight stay. Trekking Distance: 12 Km

Day 11

Eat a hot breakfast and get ready as the next right thing that you see is the trail dropping till Pangboche Village. Then, the trail goes till the riverside to cross the bridge over Imja Khola. Continue your climb till Tengboche. A steep descent from Tengboche now leads you to the Dudh Koshi River. Cross the bridge till Dudh Koshi. While returning, pass through the Tashinga and Sansa Village, then reach Kyangjuma, from here Namche Bazaar is an easy walk. Spend the night here.

Day 12

Eat your breakfast, as the trail drops from Namche Hill to the suspension bridge that crosses the Dudh Koshi River. Then you reach Monjo. After some formalities at the check post of National park at Monjo, the walk continues to Phakding for lunch. Since this is the last day of your trek, we keep our march to Lukla. Also, most of the track is flat which allows one to soak in the beauty around. Overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 13

After breakfast, our airport representative will drop you back to Airport for your final departure with"sweet memory" of Nepal. Tour ends... Sweet memories remain! Meals: Breakfast Only

Cancellation policy
  1. Please note Cancellation / Amendment request needs to reach us in writing. Any amendment received after booking will be treated as cancellation. The Cancellation policy is as follows:
  2. Cancellation Charges per person
  3. Up to 30 days prior to date of departure -Initial deposit amount – 25% of the tour cost (Non Refundable) per person
  4. Between 22 days to 29 days prior to departure - 50% of tour cost ( We need 50% payment as well)
  5. Between 16 days to 21 days prior to departure - 75% of tour cost
  6. Less than 15 days prior to departure - 100% of tour cost
  7. This policy may vary during Apr, May and Jun months, Diwali / Dussehra and New Year period and Long Weekends will go up to 100% cancellation - After confirmation.
  8. Bank transaction charges apply on credit card/net banking refunds..

Terms And Conditions
  1. Rates are not valid for long weekend and festive season.
  2. Package valid only for Indian nationals.
  3. Any Kind of jungle safaris are not included.
  4. Air tickets and hotels are subject to availability.
  5. It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in.
  6. The identification proofs accepted are Driving License, Voters Card, Passport. Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in.
  7. Note- PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  8. All transfers and sightseeing are as per the Itinerary/package and in case of Air Conditioned vehicles, It will be switched off in the hills.
  9. The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a folding cot or a mattress as an extra bed.
  10. No refunds either in part or in full will be made for any unutilized service
  11. Any kind of personal expenses (Laundry, room service etc..) or optional tours/ extra meals are not inclusive in the package cost.
  12. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel. The standard check-in time is 1300hrs and the standard check-out time is 1000hrs..
  13. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in.
  14. FlyHolidays will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
